PPF and Bloomington Petroglyphs

Hello!!!! Wow it's been ages since I've done PPF. I missed you all!!!! We are finally moved (agian)!!! First I want to show you the watercolor I've been working on for a long time now. I'll show you little by little so you can see the progress. As you can see, it's another lizard, this time a colorful Collared Lizard looking down at a cliff dwelling ruin!

Since we moved I've also recently opened up a Zazzle shop so I can play around with the Wacom Bamboo pad that Jeff bought me a few years ago. It's really fun! Here is a design I did of a Petroglyph Rock Band!

And here is the Tshirt

Last of all I'd like to share with you some petroglyphs we found last Saturday right in the middle of Bloomington at a place called Bloomington  Petroglyph Park. Cool, huh!!!!

  3. Wow well hello stranger! I can't remember the last time we 'spoke' online but looking back at your blog you last posted over 2 years ago to ppf so in that time I've also moved and been living in the far north of Scotland for nearly 2 years (& changed my blog bame from pointypix to nic's eARTh)! Seems like big changes all round and you sound so happy with your move-I'm delighted for you. I love the Lizard work in progress and funny i just heard about those bamboo thingies recently-they look like fun. Good luck with your zazzle store-i think your illustrations will look great on all the student items you can buy there.

    1. The pad is great! Sometimes it's a little slow on response but they have lots of new better ones out now too. It's real easy to connect, just plug it into any USB port. I never used it much till I opened the Zazzle store and its perfect for doing graphics in Photoshop Elements. Much easier than using a mouse to draw, lol ! Thanks for your kind words! Hugs, Deb

  27. You are a talented lady ... I love your painting and look forward to seeing the progression. I love how you have built your painting on the contrasts between the stark lines of the cliff dwelling and the soft sweep of the lizard's tail. This is a lovely piece ...
