My first ACEO!

Ok, we're going to milk these poor deer to death, LOL ! But I couldn't resist trying an ACEO and they make a great subject so here it is! I don't know where the bird came from, she just flew in so I kept her and named the piece " Bird of Petroglyphs".  The holiday weekend is almost up. Sure has been fun. Back to work tomorrow though, ugh! See ya! Deb

  3. Hi Stacy and Magaly! Yes, isn't it fun how things just "show up" in the paints Stacy?!!! Thanks for faving my frog Magaly! He was a pet green tree frog I had a long time ago named " The Professor" ( from the show Gilligan's Island ). I had a whole terrarium full of wonderful creatures all named after characters from the show, like a big toad named "Skipper" and two newts named Ginger and Marriane!I eventually felt bad and set them all free but I photographed them all first and painted the watercolor from the photo session of The Professor and a bowl of fruit! Wow is this bringing back memories, Magaly! LOL! Thanks so much both of you for visiting and I'll see ya in the circle!!!!! Deb

  4. Oh, I sooo want a frog ;-( They have to be my favorites (don't tell cats, dogs, and salamanders) but I have a soft spot for the ever-smiling ones. Don't they look like they are always smiling ear to ear?
