Paint Party Friday Sneak Preview #23
Wow it seems I'm not the only one fascinated by these blue tailed little beauties!!! Thanks for all the great comments last Friday!!! I got a little more done this week on the body. I'm not sure if its going to turn out realistic or more abstract in design. Just waiting to see which way the little guy zips back and forth! I'll include another pic from the photo shoot too on the wood plate. You can see the droplets of water that spilled out of the bottle after him! Cool! Be sure to check out all the other PPFers, super duper fun stuff!!!! Thanks Kristen and Eva for hosting our Partaay!!!!!

ReplyDeleteHe looks like he lost his footing in your art studio and started falling in a paint pot before scrabbling to safety! Great interpretation of the cheeky little fellow.
ReplyDeleteHe's coming along brilliantly...I love the colours of your painting and am wowed by his colours...
ReplyDeleteOh oh this is coming along really really nicely I must say. I am loving the detail. Can't wait to see him done!! Blue skinks rule!!

ReplyDeleteNICE! Love the detail on the body...it's coming together nicely!
ReplyDeleteVery nice design. What a great inspiration. I've seen those lizards in our yard, but they are so fast all I can catch a glimpse of is the vibrant blue tail. I never knew what they were called. Great artwork.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this one, inspired by nature, improved by you, fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteLove his blue tail. I actually like it more abstract on the body. Looks like some native design. :)
ReplyDeleteSkinks creep me out because of the snaky way they run, but they do have beautiful colors. I see more red tailed ones than blue on my porch. Your painting is looking great so far!
ReplyDeleteThis painting is progressing beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo too :)
Looking forward to seeing even more!!!
